Maurgan and Robert - Murlough Bay and Whiterocks Beach Engagement Shoot

I like my engagement shoots with a side of terror and anyone that’s driven the treacherous road down to Murlough Bay knows exactly what I mean! But the rugged beauty is undeniable and I definitely recommend a visit if your stomach can stand it.

This is where we met Maurgan and Robert. Although the engagement was unexpected by Maurgan, it is no surprise to me as they are obviously very much in love and even though Robert wasn’t keen on having his photo taken it knew it was important to his fiancé so he made such an effort.

As the sun was going down we decided to race to Whiterocks Beach in Portrush for some beautiful golden light…

Aisling and Dave - Tullylagan Country House Hotel

Aisling and Dave were married on a very sunny April day at Tullylagan Country House Hotel. Despite their fears they could not have asked for better weather (as a photographer I might not necessarily agree as the sun can be the enemy!).

But we overcame this with the gorgeous bridal party, the love in the air and the twilight walk for their moody couples portraits.

Lesley and Matthew - Watermill Lodge Lisnaskea

Lesley and Matthew are fun, energetic teachers…yes I said teachers! But these pair aren’t your stereotypical teachers. In fact right now they have given their lovely English life up for teaching posts in Thailand. I’m not jealous…you are!

Anyways, a week before the big move off their lives across the world they got married right on the water at Watermill Lodge in Lisnaskea and they got a glorious day (I may have even got a little sunburn).

There were tears, laughs, dancing, a boat ride and a stunning sunset. Check it out!

Conna and David - Belfast City Centre Wedding

Sometimes you photograph a wedding when you don't now what to expect and you just have to show up and roll with it. I think that about sums up David and Conna's wedding.

When a nervous male on his own approached me at a wedding fair to photograph his wedding that very week I was not expecting that what I was actually signing up for was a tv show that I can't mention but where the groom must book and choose everything for his wedding day without the bride's knowledge. You're smart people so I think you may have figured out what I'm talking about...

That being said I agreed before I knew what I was agreeing to and was terrified about what I was walking into. Normally I like to meet and get to know my couples so I have a very clear vision of what they want and I could deliver on the day. Without having met the bride and very briefly spoken to the groom, my anxieties were sky high.

That being said, the day was a very pleasant surprise but i'll simply let the pictures tell the rest...
